25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Francisco Pedroza and Christian Patterson made an unannounced inspection to conduct a Case Management - Licensee initiated inspection. LPAs met with facility Director Kerry Roman and advised the nature of the inspection. Together LPAs and Director conducted a tour of the facility inside and out. The facility had 18 children in care at the time of the visit.
The facility submitted an application to Community Care Licensing requesting to incorporate a Toddler Option in one of their classrooms for 11 toddlers. The classroom assigned for the toddler option will be the green door classroom. All the classrooms in the facility are associated based on the color of the door. LPA observed age appropriate toys, games, tables, chairs, napping equipment, and cubbies. There is a restroom with one toilet and sink readily available for the children.
The outdoor play area for the toddlers is located out side to the right of the classroom. The play area has a white fence around it's perimeter. LPAs observed age appropriate play structures, grass area, and ample shade.
