25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Villanueva made an unannounced site visit for the purpose of conducting an Annual Random inspection. The purpose of the visit was discussed with Director, Rebecca Mendoza. The center currently operates in 4 classrooms from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. A tour of the indoor and outdoor space was conducted.
The classrooms were found clean, organized with age appropriate toys, games books, cubbies, tables and chairs. The restrooms were found clean and free of toxins. There are functioning carbon monoxide detectors in each classroom that meet requirements. All required State forms were posted. Menu was posted. The center provides a morning and an afternoon snack. The outdoor play area is completely fenced and LPA observed age appropriate toys, games, tricycles, shade areas, sand box area, and grass area. Drinking water is available inside and outside through water bottles. Teacher files reviewed and were found complete with State required forms. Teacher's Medical Health Record verified. Teachers are current with CPR and First Aid which expires 11/01/20. Children's files reviewed.
This facility currently provides Incidental Medical Services (IMS). When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
