On February 4, 2025 at 9:50 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Carone conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude investigation for the above allegation. LPA met with Director, Debbie Blumenthal and Assistant Director, Keri Loventhal and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and outside with Director. LPA observed a total of 180 children under the care and supervision of 37 staff. There are 13 preschool classrooms.

Parents interviewed expressed being happy with the care and supervision their children receives at the center. The Teachers interviewed corroborated the incident occurred on 10/16/2024. Director reported the incident to the Department the same day. A picture was taken of the sleeping Teacher. The Teacher was placed on administrative leave and terminated on 10/18/2024. The actions the center took were appropriate. No citations issued. Notice of Site Visit (LIC9213) will be posted. The notice shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a $100.00 civil penalty. Appeal
