32 | A sampling of children and staff records were reviewed and found complete. At least one staff present has current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificate that expires on 6/15/2023. Teachers present have current AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training certificates that expire on 3/5/2022.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed and currently the center does have two children with IMS. Plan of Operations on file and LPA observed medications stored in a locked box up high in the office. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Licensee is reminded that they are responsible for knowing the regulations for a School Age Day Care Center and that Licensing information can be accessed online at www.ccld.ca.gov.
