On 07/17/23 at 1:20PM Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Giovani Gonzalez and German Negrete
conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude a complaint investigation. LPAs met with facility director Shannon Sutton and explained the nature and the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPAs a tour of the facility. There were 54 children in care at the time of the inspection with 13 staff providing care. The Department obtained two allegations that a child scratched another child and that a child pushed another child.
LPA Gigi Reyes initiated the complaint investigation on 4/27/23. LPAs conducted parent interviews where the parents did not corraborate the allegations that a child's personal rights were violated by another child. Based on the information obtained a preponderance of evidence could not be established to support the abovementioned allegations. LPA Gonzalez and LPA Negrete deemed the allegations as
UNSUBSTANTIATED
Although the allegations may have happend or are valid there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violcation did or did not occur.Therefore the allegations are deemed unsubstantiated.
