On 5/18/22, at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvin Baddley conducted an unannounced One Year Required Inspection the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC). The LPA met with Juana Osioria, Site Supervisor of the CCC and explained the purpose of the inspection. The LPA, in the company of Site Supervisor, toured the interior and exterior of the CCC. The CCC operates from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday. The preschool uses two classrooms for childcare (Classroom G and Classroom F). LPA observed 30 children on site during the inspection along with five teachers (cleared and associated) providing care and supervision. LPA notes Classroom G operates from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The classrooms used for childcare are clean and organized. The classrooms have age appropriate toys and furnishings available for children in care. The CCC has carbon monoxide detectors throughout the facility. A carbon monoxide detector was tested in Classroom G at 3:35 PM and found to be operable. The restrooms used for care are in safe and sanitary operating condition. LPA observed an operable refrigerator in the CCC's kitchen which contains food items for the children’s consumption. The CCC provides breakfast, lunch and a PM snack for children. LPA notes there is available bottled drinking water for children both inside the CCC and outside in the play area. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, sharps and medications in CCC are located in areas (i.e. elevated cabinet, secure cabinets) which are inaccessible to children in care. LPA reviewed licensing required notices and documents posted predominately near the entry of each classroom. The CCC uses an electronic Sign In/Out application. LPA reviewed entries and noted entries contain the arrival and departure times of children in care and as well as notations from authorized representatives.

The CCC's outdoor playground area is enclosed by chain link fencing. The fence's entry/exit gates are secured and the footing in the areas is varied. LPA observed age appropriate toys and play equipment in the play area. The toys and play equipment are in suitable condition and free of sharp, loose or pointed objects. The play structures in the playground area has cushioning materials to absorb falls and an abundance of
