Licensing Program Analyst(LPA)'s Michael Avila and Betzayra Cervantes made an unannounced inspection for the purpose of conducting an Annual Random review. LPA's met with Director Lisa Loessberg and discussed the nature and purpose of the visit. The center currently operates from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. The classrooms were found clean, organized with age appropriate toys, games, books, cubbies, tables and chairs. The restrooms were clean and free of toxins. There is a functioning carbon monoxide detector that meets statutory requirement. All required State forms were posted. Menu was posted.
The outdoor play area is completely fenced and LPA observed age appropriate toys, games, tricycles, shade areas, sand box area, and grass area. Drinking water is available inside and outside through drinking fountains. Teacher files reviewed and were found complete with State required forms. Teacher's Medical Health Record verified. Teachers are current with CPR/First-Aid. Children's records were reviewed were observed current and complete.

The center is not currently not providing Incidental Medical Services. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPAs discussed the website www.ccld.ca.gov with the Director and discussed Infant Safe Sleep, Lead Poisoning Flyer, and Child Care Quarterly Update-Summer 2019.

No deficiencies were cited during today's visit.
