25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Villanueva made an unannounced visit to the home and met with Licensee, Judith Fairall for a Case Management-Licensee Initiated inspection for an increase in capacity. LPA toured the inside and the outside of the one story back house. No toxins or hazards are accessible to the children in care. The Licensee uses the living room, hall bathroom and front yard for the child care. The front yard is completely enclosed. There are guinea pigs, chickens, and a rabbit in hutches. Licensee wants to add dining room for child care at a later date. Fire clearance was granted 8/17/19. The fire extinguisher was purchased 1/20/19. The last fire drill was conducted on 4/1/19. Children's files were current with required documents. Licensee's CPR first Aid certificate expires 9/11/20. Mandated reporter training was completed on 11/25/18.
Licensee has no children on medication. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. LPA provided Licensee with a poisonous plants poster, lead poisoning flyer, safe sleep pamphlet, capacity regulations information, and Summer 2019 Child Care Quarterly Update.
Licensee is granted a capacity increase from a small family child care home to a large family child care home. effective today for a large license. LPA reviewed capacity requirements and Assistant requirements with Licensee. |
