1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Francisco Pedroza made an unannounced inspection for the purpose of conducting an Annual/Random Inspection. LPA met with facility Director Julia Chandler and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA and Director together toured the facility inside and out. The facility currently had (Ratio) children in care at the time of the inspection. The center operates from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. The preschool uses eight classrooms for care. One classroom has it's own restroom. The remaining 7 classrooms have access to six other restrooms separated by gender. Each with two toilets and sinks available for children to use. Children are escorted to the restrooms by staff. LPA did not observe any toxins/hazardous items accessible to children. LPA reviewed the posted snack menu. The center provides a morning and afternoon snack. The center has a local restaurant that prepares and delivers lunch for the children. Children have the option to order the lunch for a fee or bring a lunch from home. The outdoor playground has age appropriate toys and equipment. The playground has an ample amount of shade available. There are two storage containers located on the playground fully secured preventing children from having access. Continued on 809C.

The facility stores some of the outdoor toys, equipment, and earthquake supplies in them. There is drinking water available both inside and out for the children. The facility does provide Incidental Medical Services (IMS). The child's medication is located in a locked security box readily available in the facility office.

Center uses written sign-in/sign-out sheets located at the entrance of the building. A sampling of children and staff records were reviewed. Teachers have required qualifications. Teachers present have current First Aid/CPR certificates that expire on 07/08/2021. Teachers present have current AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training certificates that expire on 11/21/2019. LPAs verified SB 792 Child Care Adult Immunization and Tuberculosis Requirements. Director was provided a guide for Safe Sleep and effects of Lead Exposure brochures.

This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. No deficiencies were cited during today's visit.
