25 | Licensing Program Analyst(LPA), Laura Villanueva made an unannounced inspection in order to conduct an ANNUAL RANDOM inspection and met with the Preschool Director, Terri Beaumont and Site Director, Edmond Harley. The purpose of the visit was discussed and a tour of the facility was conducted. The center currently operates in one classroom from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. The classroom was clean with age appropriate toys and equipment. The restroom was found clean and free of toxins. There is a functioning carbon monoxide detector that meets statutory requirement. All required State forms were posted. Menu was posted.
The outdoor play area is completely fenced and LPA observed age appropriate equipment and shade area. Drinking water is available inside and outside. Teacher files reviewed and were found complete with State required forms. Teachers are current with CPR and First Aid which expires 8/13/21.Children's files found complete. Center staff took the school Mandated Reporter Training.
The center is not currently providing Incidental Medical Services. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. No deficiencies were cited during today's visit.
