On June 23, 2023 at 09:30 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Villanueva conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude the investigation for the allegations above. LPA met with Director, Daksha Patel and explained the purpose of the inspection. LPA toured the facility inside and outside with Director. LPA observed 36 children and 7 staff present at the time of the inspection.

LPA conducted staff interviews and parent interviews. Parents interviewed are happy with the care and supervision their child receives. Staff interviews did not disclose any concerns. Children are given the option of napping or resting. LPA observed a nap room with cots for children who want to nap. Another classroom is for children who want to rest. In the non nap room children are free to play if they are not resting. The ratios for staff to children are 1:5 or 1:6 for the 2 year old children and 1:10 for the older children. Each classroom has 2 staff present at all times. The program has been accredited with the NAEYC for the past 16 years.

The program is play based with staff setting up the learning environment and children choosing the activity. The classrooms have an open floor plan with low walls making all sounds easily heard.
Although the allegations may have happened or invalid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

No deficiencies cited for today.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Daksha Patel and a copy was provided.
