On 10/21/20 at 2:30pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michael Avila conducted a tele-video CASE MANAGEMENT inspection via Zoom (due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency). LPA Avila met with Lead Teacher Laura Garcia regarding the request for increased capacity (request is to increase the preschool program capacity to 72). A virtual tour and measurement of the additional room was completed. The new room is located in the building next to the current preschool classrooms. The new room (identified as TK) was observed equipped with age appropriate furniture/toys. There is a restroom located near the classrooms and staff will escort children to the restroom. There is a playground on the side of all three classrooms. Shade is provide via an awning on the side of the building and a canopy over the playground structure. Age appropriate toys/equipment were observed on the yard. Water is available via a water fountain outside and water jugs with individual cups inside the classrooms. The program has a total of 6 toilets and 6 sinks which meets the requirement for 72 children.

The measurements for the TK classroom as with the other classroom is 877 square feet per each room.

The total square footage for all 3 classrooms is 2,632 which meets the requirement for 72 additional children
The Fire clearance was granted by the Oxnard Fire Department on 09/03/20 for 72 children.

The facility is licensed effective today, 10/21/2020 for 72 children.

LPA Gull reviewed COVID-19 guidelines/resources with Director. Director informed LPA that they had previously completed a COVID-19 Technical Assistance tele-video inspection. LPA also reminded Lead Teacher to continue monitoring the CCLD website at www.ccld.ca.gov for updates.

Exit interview was conducted with Lead Teacher Laura Garcia via Zoom. This report will be sent to via email with a read receipt or confirmation of receipt of email, which will act as the Director's signature.
