13 | On June 1, 2020 at 11:37 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Francisco contacted licensee Sylvia Villanueva via phone to conclude a complaint investigation. LPA explained the nature and purpose of the call to the licensee. Due to COVID-19 requirements and precautions, the inspection and final interview were conducted by a virtual tele-inspection. Licensee provided LPA a tour of the facility via Facetime. There was seven children in care at the time of the inspection.
Complaint received alleged the facility operates out of capacity, children’s diapers are changed, and the licensee has multiple children share a crib at the same time. Investigation included one unannounced inspection, one tele-inspection, interviews with current and past parents, and file reviews. Licensee and the parent of to two siblings confirmed that the siblings did sleep in the same crib during the first two weeks they were enrolled. The siblings were having issues adjusting to sleeping alone since they sleep together at home.
