25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Villanueva made an unannounced visit in order to conduct a Annual/Required inspection. LPA met with Teachers Morgan Jones & Ana Morales then toured the facility. The Director left for the day due to her own child being sick. The classroom was organized with a few games, books, cubbies, worn tables, and chairs. The bathrooms were found clean and free of toxins. There is a functioning carbon monoxide detector that meets statutory requirement. All required State forms were posted. Menu was posted.
The outdoor play area is completely fenced. Drinking water is available inside and outside.
Teacher and child files reviewed. Director is current with CPR and First Aid which expires 11/20.
Sign in and sign out is completed by parents electronically. Center staff took the school Mandated Reporter Training. The last fire drill was conducted on 2/8/19.
The center is currently providing Incidental Medical Services. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
