On June 7, 2021 at 12:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Villanueva made an unannounced telephone call to Administrator, Elvia Parreira to conclude a complaint investigation. LPA informed her of the purpose and nature of the inspection. LPA advised Administrator that “Due to the COVID-19 and California Department of Public Health guidelines of social distancing, a tele-inspection was conducted, via Microsoft Teams.
On 4/6/21, LPA conducted a detailed tele inspection of facility prior to the anticipated reopening on 47/21. The facility was toured in it's entirety inside and outside. LPA observed yellow caution tape around an area that was going to have concrete poured. The location was a small area next to the block wall surrounding the center. The preschool classes have been conducted via Zoom since the begining of the school year. The center is ready to reopen for in person instruction. The Fillmore School District has been closed due to COVID-19. The center is located on an elementary school grounds. The school has reopened for in person instruction and the preschool has also reopened. The concrete work was completed on 4/20/21.
