25 | On May 21, 2020 at 11:06 A.M., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Francisco Pedroza conducted an announced Case Management - Licensee initiated inspection. Due to the COVID - 19 and Department of Public Health guidelines of social distancing, a tele-inspection was conducted. LPA conducted the tele-inspection via Zoom and met with Licensee Catrina Melendez-Santos. LPA discussed the nature and purpose of the inspection. During this tele-inspection the licensee took LPA on a tour of the facility. There was five children in care at the time of the inspection.
Licensee submitted an application to the Community Care Licensing (CCL) on 2/3/20 requesting an increase in capacity. Licensee is requesting to become a large family child care facility. The licensee uses the living room, one bedroom, one bathroom, and back yard for their day care. A fire clearance request was submitted on 2/26/20 to the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD). The fire inspection had not been completed prior due to COVID-19. On May 18, 2020 the VCFD inspector conducted a fire inspection. The facility received a fire clearance approval for the large family child care facility. Licensee has completed all required licensing requirements to become a large family child care.
Facility license will be a large family child care effective today, May 21, 2020 for a capacity of 14 children. |
