25 | On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvira Sierra met with the applicant, Rebekah Reichenbach for a change of location inspection. Applicant moved from facility # 574500328. This is a single story home, 4 bedrooms and 2 bath. Facility hours of operation will be M-F from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm.
LPA toured the home inside and out for a health and safety inspection. Off-limit areas include; Bedroom # 3, detached garage, storage shed located across from the garage, and backyard. Front yard can be use for outdoor activities; Licensee understands 100% supervision is required in any unfenced areas.
Applicant rent the home and provided a copy of the lease agreement for the home to LPA. LPA explained the option of obtaining $300,000 liability insurance. Applicant understands that until a policy is obtained, applicant must use the affidavit. Fire extinguisher carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector meet regulation. Hazardous cleaning compounds and medications are stored inaccessible and or out of children reach. There are no bodies of water in the premises. Per Licensee there are no firearms or weapons in the home.
Applicant was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
