13 | A follow-up unannounced complaint investigation inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Chavez. It has been alleged that facility staff failed to take appropriate measures to prevent spread of communicable disease. Site Supervisor Renee McKenzie denied the allegation. Staff interviews conducted corroborated that the classroom is cleaned throughout the day during day-care hours and toys and equipment that are mouthed are sanitized on a daily basis. The classroom is deep cleaned after hours by Yuba College janitorial staff. During today's inspection and initial inspection made on 2/21/2019, LPA observed the classroom, toys and equipment to be sufficiently clean.
Based on available information at this time, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. This report was reviewed and discussed with Site Supervisor Renee McKenzie. Appeal Rights were provided.
