25 | On May 20, 2026, at 8:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Randy Miranda arrived unannounced for an annual inspection for compliance to Health and Safety. LPA was greeted by Registrar Chyi Chyi Chang and was granted entry into the preschool office. Shortly thereafter, Director Nathaniel Jimenez arrived and accompanied LPA during the inspection. Present during the inspection were the Site Director, one (1) registrar, fourteen (14) teachers, two (2) teacher's aide, two (2) assistants, and ninety-one (96) children in care (7 infants, 6 toddlers and 83 preschoolers). The center has a toddler option and currently operates Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 6:30pm. Licensure: Ages served – 2 years to First Grade entry with a toddler-option (ages 18 months to 36 months). Operating in rooms 1-8 and E-3. Subject to conditions of commercial food services waiver to be posted.
All required postings were appropriately displayed on the walls, including the license, Emergency Disaster Plan, Earthquake Preparedness Checklist, Notification of Parents’ Rights, Personal Rights, child seatbelt laws, menus, daily activity schedules, and lead testing results.
The child care center operates on a church school campus with eight classrooms: two for ages 3½–4 years, two for ages 3–3½ years, three for ages 2½–3 years, one for ages 2–2½ years, and one for ages 18–24 months. All classrooms were observed to be clean, safe, and well-maintained. Purified drinking water is available in each room, and children also bring water bottles from home. Lead testing results were reviewed and are in compliance.
The facility is clean, organized, and equipped with age-appropriate furniture and materials. No toxins or hazards were accessible to children. No bodies of water are present.
