25 | A Case Management Visit was conducted on this date 3/11/2022 by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Melanie Otsuji. LPA met with Assistant Center Director, Scott Kinser. Also present with the Assistant Director were 18 additional staff members and 63 preschool aged children. The center has submitted an application for an increase in capacity from 108 preschoolers to 132 preschoolers. In addition, the center is also adding a room which currently serves as the School Age room. The additional room will serve as a preschool room until School Age Children arrive. If there is at least 1 school age child present the preschool program will decrease their capacity to 108 children. Hours of operation are from 6:30am - 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. Most children were napping upon arrival. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. The following are the measurements:
INDOORS: 4867.04 square feet = 139 children
OUTDOORS: 11683.76 square feet = 156 children
Per Assistant Director, opening and closing staff have current CPR/FA. Playground equipment is in good condition. Drinking water is available inside and outside. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. Menus are posted. Breakfast/Lunch and Snacks are provided and prepared on site. There is adequate variety and quantity of foods to meet the children's needs. The storage of napping equipment was observed. The sign in and out logs were reviewed. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector.
This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS.
