25 | On February 6, 2026, at 11:45 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with licensee Mireya Sosa Camacho. LPA disclosed the purpose of the visit and conducted a health and safety inspection, touring the facility both inside and outside. Present during the inspection were two children in care: one preschool-age child and one infant. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The facility is a single-story home owned by the licensee and consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, front and backyard, and a converted garage. The home was observed to be clean, orderly, and well maintained. The facility is equipped with centralized heating, air conditioning and ventilation to ensure the safety and comfort of children in care. The kitchen is secured with a door to prevent children from freely accessing the area.
On-limits areas include two (2) playrooms and the converted garage, which consists of a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and sitting area, as well as the front and backyard. The designated isolation area is the sitting area in the converted garage, located away from other children in care.
Off-limits areas include the main house. These areas are made inaccessible to children by closed and/or locked doors and through visual supervision.
At 12:00 PM, LPA inspected the front and backyard areas and confirmed that no pools, hot tubs, or other bodies of water were present, in compliance with childcare licensing regulations. The outdoor play area includes age-appropriate play equipment and outdoor furniture, such as benches, tables and chairs, bikes, scooters, sandboxes, hoop courts, water stations, playhouses, a play kitchen, and mini slides with cushioning underneath to absorb children falls. The backyard is fully fenced and free from defects or dangerous conditions. A large awning provides shade and protection from harmful sunlight during outdoor play.
At 12:15 PM, LPA asked the licensee if she transports children in care. The licensee stated that she not does provide transportation to children in care. LPA also asked the licensee if there are any firearms in the home and the licensee stated there are none.
