13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) J. Vargas and D. Campos met with Center Director Elizabeth Murray for a complaint investigation regarding the above allegation. Present were 4 staff and 9 children in care consisting of 9 infants. It was alleged that the facility did not follow safe sleep practices. During the course of the investigation, interviews were conducted and files were reviewed. Due to inconsistent statements given to the LPAs, LPAs could not determine the facility did not follow safe sleep practices. During the investigation, safe sleep regulations were discussed. Based on the investigative findings, there was no evidence to determine whether or not the facility did not follow safe sleep practices. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated at this time.
