25 | On September 24, 2025, at 2:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Randy Miranda met with licensee Anupama Mujral for an unannounced annual inspection for health and safety. Living in the home are the licensee and licensee’s spouse. Present for today’s inspection was the licensee, her fingerprint and TB cleared spouse, two (2) assistants, and eleven (10) children in care (three infants and seven toddlers). The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:30am 5:30pm.
The facility is a single-story, four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with an attached two-car garage. It is owned by the licensee and includes a large foyer at the entrance, dining room, family room, living room (featuring a glass-screened gas fireplace), kitchen, a dedicated daycare room at the rear, and enclosed (fenced) side and backyard areas. The licensee carries liability insurance through Markel Insurance, with the policy effective as of June 1, 2025. The home is neat and clean, with appropriate heating and ventilation to ensure safety and comfort.
ON-LIMIT AREAS: Living room, kitchen, children’s daycare area at the back of the house (including a small kitchenette), children’s bathroom (located next to the daycare room), south side-yard (daycare entrance), and backyard area designated for outdoor play.
OFF-LIMIT AREAS: Bedrooms #1, #2, and #3; two main house bathrooms; dining room; foyer; attached two-car garage; and the north side-yard. These areas will be made inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors.
ISOLATION AREA: Bedroom #4 (office/isolation area) located next to the daycare room. When a child shows signs of illness, he/she will be separated from other children in care.
