1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	DUE TO THE COVID-19 SHELTER IN PLACE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA, THIS CASE MANAGEMENT INSPECTION WAS DONE VIA TELE-VISIT THROUGH FACETIME. A Case Management - Licensee initiated inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji. LPA conducted the televisit with Licensee Janette Billingsley. An application was submitted for Change of Capacity and Addition of Room for the Preschool Program. The center has requested to increase from 57 to 69 and adding Room #22. The center is located in Arroyo Mocho Elementary School ground with School-Age component (license #013421394) and Infant component (license #013421395). The program will continue to operate Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm. The facility was closed today due to a Holiday, therefore no children or staff were present. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside and the measurements are as follows: INDOOR: 3757.94 square feet = 107 children OUTDOOR: 14450 square feet= 192 children (previously measured) The facility has received an approved fire clearance from Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department on 6/24/2020. There are no bodies of water on the premises. Furniture and equipment are free of any hazards. The classrooms are equipped with age appropriate materials and equipment. There is a carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, and fire extinguishers are available all throughout the center. Heating, lighting, and air conditioner are adequate. Each child has individual storage for their belongings. Napping equipment are stored properly. The play yard is fenced in all around. Play structures are sufficiently cushioned. Shades and trees provide sufficient shade in the play yard. Water is available inside and outside. There are 4 toilets, 2 urinals, and 8 sinks available for children. The staff has a separate bathroom. The office will serve as isolation area for sick children while waiting for parents to pick them up. The kitchen is not accessible to children. The center will provide morning and afternoon snacks. Parents will provide breakfast and lunch for their children. There is a sample menu posted on the Licensing board.

Per Licensee, all staff have current Pediatric CPR/First Aid which expires January 2022. Playground equipment is in good condition. Drinking water is available inside and outside. This facility plans to provide Individual Medical Services – IMS. An updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department when any changes are made. Mandated reporter and appeal rights, civil penalties, unusual incident reporting and fingerprint requirements were discussed today. Licensee is also being informed of the web address (www.ccld.ca.gov) for downloading child care forms, and the director is encouraged to email ChildCareAdvocatesprogram@dss.ca.gov to be included in the Child Care Quarterly Updates distribution list. The director is also reminded that mandated reporter training is required for all staff and is to be renewed every 2 years at www.mandatedreporterca.com.

Zero Tolerance policies were explained. Notice of Site Visit form was provided and posted.
The center was found to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair.

There are no deficiencies cited during this televisit. A license for 69 preschool children and approval of the use of Room #22, will be issued effective today, 7/3/2020.

An exit interview was conducted.
