25 | On 05/18/2022 approximately at 9:05AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kelly Phan arrived at for an unannounced required inspection, and met with Licensee Mamta Singh. Present for this inspection was the licensee, her fingerprinted and associated helper, and 3 infants and 7 preschool aged children. The Licensee's adult children are fingerprint cleared, but do not reside in the home. The home was toured with the licensee to conduct a health and safety inspection. Hours of operation for day care are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
ON LIMITS: bedroom #1 nearest to the bathroom, bathroom #1, full backyard, dining/living room, kitchen, and garage; isolation area are bedroom #1 and backyard area
OFF LIMITS: bedroom #2, bedroom #3, and bedroom #4 (licensee's master bedroom), and master bathroom. Off limit areas are inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors, barriers, and visual supervision.
The home is single story, which is neat and clean, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. At 9:10AM, LPA toured all ON LIMIT areas; there were no toxins, medicines, and hazardous items were inaccessible during today's inspection. There is a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher, working dual carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, along with a telephone. Per licensee, there are no firearms or pets or fireplace or any bodies of water in the home. The licensee conducts and documents fire drill log indicates a drill was conducted 02/17/22. All required licensing documents are posted and visible for public review. At 9:30AM, LPA observed a bicycle that has a missing pedal in her backyard and informed licensee; licensee states that her helpers along with herself would stay outside with the children and would remove the bicycle today since the children does not play with it anymore. LPA observed there were age appropriate toys that were observed to be safe and in good condition in the garage, which is mainly used for storage and diaper changing.
