Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini met with Licensee Jigna Modi for a 10-day complaint visit. Upon arrival, LPA observed a fully qualified teacher and a teacher aid supervising 14 children. Another fully qualified teacher arrived during the inspection around 9:30am.
Based on interviews, observations, and record review, the facility confirmed that there are 25 children enrolled as of today. Interviews with staff revealed that teachers have never observed any staff member supervising more than 12 children or being left alone with more than 12 children. During the inspection, LPA observed 17 children in care with two fully qualified teachers and one teacher aide present. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is "Unsubstantiated".
Appeal rights were given.
A notice of site visit was posted and must remain posted for a period of 30 days.
An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Jigna Modi.

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini met with Licensee Jigna Modi for a 10-day complaint visit. Upon arrival, LPA observed a fully qulified teacher and teacher aid supervising 14 children. Another fully qualified teacher arrived during the inspection around 9:30am.
Based on interviews and observations, the facility confirmed that new carpet was recently installed. Per licensee, the new carpet smell is associated with the installation. LPA did not observe any unsanitary conditions on the carpet. During the inspection, windows in each classroom were open to provide ventilation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is "Unsubstantiated".
