On 10/22/2024 at 8:40AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jaleesa Jackson conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with Director Sarah De Sousa. LPA informed the Director the nature of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility. There were no school aged children present during this inspection until 1:45PM. There were 9 school aged children and 1 fingerprint clear staff present. The facility was toured for a health and safety inspection. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 6:00PM.

The facility operates out of 2 classrooms (Wise Owls and Ravens). Staff that pick up children use an app called Procare to sign the children in and parents sign them out of the facility. There are adequate play and learning materials available. LPA observed all the floors, furniture, and equipment are age appropriate and in good repair. There is adequate heating/air conditioning, ventilation and lighting. Drinking water is available inside and outside of the center. There is proper individual storage space for each child. The isolation area for sick children is in the front office. The facility has smoke detectors, working telephone, and fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguishers and carbon monoxides detectors that are inspected every year by the fire department. The facility transports children from school. LPA verified the licenses of the staff that transport children and registration of the vehicles.

The staff's bathroom is separate from the children's bathroom. All sinks and faucets are in safe and sanitary operating condition. This facility provide afternoon snacks for the children and all meals and snacks during full days. There are weekly menus posted at the facility. All storage containers for solid waste have tight fitting covers that are in good repair.
