25 | On 11/27/2023 at 9:15 AM Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) A. Curry and B. Crass conducted an unannounced case management inspection to follow up on a lead exceedance at the facility. LPAs met with the Executive Director, Laetitia Medrano, to explain the purpose of today's inspection. The licensee failed to maintain a lead value at or below the Action Level for water lead testing resulting with values of 5.5ppb or greater for outlets A & D. Water testing results identified with Action Level Exceedance as defined in WD section 101700.3 are not deemed safe to drink (See 809D). During today's visit the Director indicated both outlets have not been used since the facility received the notice of a lead exceedance. The LPAs verified that both outlets have been made inaccessible to children in care. Both outlets have tape on them to prevent the sinks from being used and both outlets have a "Do Not Use" sign next to them.
Exit interview conducted, appeal rights were given, and report was reviewed with the Executive Director, Laetitia Medrano.
