Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini arrived unannounced to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation and met the Director, Haneen,Asad Halim. In addition to the director, there are 16 children and 5 staff members present today.
Based on interviews, record reviews, and observations, it is concluded that the facility operates under two part-time preschool programs; -9:00am-12:00pm and 12:00pm-3:00pm and The facility also operates after school program under the heritage license from (12:00 pm- 6:30 pm). During the course of the investigation, and interviews, Director and Staff mentioned that the discipline policy is mainly 'redirection.' If a child is having difficulty settling down, a child is redirected to another activity/area. The staff interviews indicated staff uses a firm voice but not yelling. The facility states that no one yells at the children, and no one has witnessed anyone yelling at any child inappropriately.Although the allegation that Staff yells at day-care children may have happened or may be valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is found to be 'Unsubstantiated.'

Notice of Site visit was provided. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the Facility Representative, Haneen Asad Halim.
