LPA Lisa Dyer met with facility director Linda Sahgal for a complaint investigation regarding the above allegation. Present today is the director, 46 preschool children, and 8 staff members.
Complainant states that Licensee did not ensure that child's authorized representative received a copy of the admissions agreement. Interviews were conducted. Parent states that they did not receive a copy of the admissions agreement at the time of enrollment, even though they requested it several times. Staff state the Admission Agreement was placed on the Brightwheel portal for the parent to obtain at any time, and the parent was given this information. Parent stated that it was not on the portal when they initially tried to locate it. Parent states that they finally received a copy of the Admission Agreement months later. Because contradictory statements have been made by witnesses, it cannot be proven or disproven if the Admissions Agreement was available to the child’s authorized representative at enrollment. Therefore, this allegation will be finalized as Unsubstantiated.
Exit interview conducted. Appeal rights were discussed and given. Notice of site visit must be posted and must remain posted for 30 days.
