25 | On 3/6/24 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Monica Mathur and Diana Campos conducted an unannounced Case Management - POC inspection at Pride In Learning Montessori School. LPAs met with Director, Dara Leon and explained the purpose of inspection.
Purpose of today's inspection is to verify corrections made to citations and technical violations issued during an annual required inspection on 2/1/24 for Teacher Qualifications, Child Health Records and Sleep Log.
Per record review, Director has been unable to met the corrections deadline of 3/1/24 for staff's registration for infant toddler units. She stated since the citation, her staff who did not have Infant Toddler units have been trying to register for the class but were unable to as they had already missed Spring semester registration deadline and at present did not have access to Summer schedule. Director states they are continuing to look for other options, online available classes at various educational institutions that meet the state licensing requirements. She is requesting an extension of the POC Due Date for this citation by 30 days (until 4/8/24). During inspection today she submitted a written request with reason/s for extension. Deadline was extended with approval from Licensing Program Manager. Director agreed to submit verifications of registration by new POC due date 4/8/24 or request another extension in writing.
Children records have Physician's Reports LIC701, immunization record and facility has been documenting Safe Sleep Log for children under age 2. Citation was cleared and Letter of Clearance provided.
No deficiency was cited today. Exit interview was conduced with Director, Dara Leon. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. |
