25 | On 12/13/2023 at 2:15 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sikia Blue arrived at the home for an unannounced Required Random Inspection. LPA met with Yasmine Oiknine to explain the purpose of today’s visit. Present in the home was licensee and Assistant. Today census is four with four children enrolled. The facility operating hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. Licensee provides meals(milk) and water for all children in care. LPA observed ample supply of 2% milk, oat milk, and breast milk all labeled and NOT expired.
LPA toured the areas of the home used to provide care for children, to complete a health and safety inspection. The home is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. This is a two story 5 bedrooms and 3 and a half bathroom home which consists of the living room, dining room, two kitchens, laundry area fenced backyard for outdoor play area, and garage. The upstairs four bedrooms, living room, dining room, laundry room, upstairs kitchen, two and a half bathrooms, and garage are the OFF LIMIT areas. Downstairs kitchen, downstairs bedroom, backyard, downstairs play room are the ON LIMITS areas. Off limit areas are inaccessible to children in care by closed and/or locked doors, visual supervision and a safety gate. The ISOLATION area will be outside or the downstairs bedroom away from other children in care. The backyard is used for outdoor play and LPA observed that all the toys were neat and clean and equipment safe for children to play. The parent board is located behind the door on the for parents to see and has all the required documents at this time.
