25 | On 03/21/2024 at 01:10 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diana Campos conducted an unannounced 3 Year Required inspection at Madhavi & Sravani Gogulmudi's Family Childcare Home. LPA met with licensee's and explained the purpose of today's inspection. LPA was granted the inspection authority to enter the Home. The family childcare home days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Present in the home at time of inspection were both licensee's and 4 children in care consisting of 3 infants including licensee's own child and one preschool age child.
Indoor Space: At 1:30 PM a health and safety tour of inside the home was done. LPA toured the premises with licensee. The home is a 2 story house consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, garage and basement. The home is sanitized and orderly in compliance with Title 22 Regulations during today's inspection, with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. Outdoor Space: AT 2:00PM LPA toured the outdoor area (backyard) and observed it was fenced. LPA observed there are no pools, hot tubs or other bodies of water. LPA recommends the back yard be used only with 100% visual supervision. OFF-LIMIT areas are the 2 bedrooms toward the rear part of the home, the basement, the garage and the driveway. LPA observed these areas are inaccessible to children in care today by closed locked doors and visual supervision. IN-USE The entry way, bedroom to the left of entry way, living room, bathroom, kitchen (only used as walkway to access the back yard), bathroom and backyard are used as the primary areas for day-care.
Medicines, cleaning products, and sharp objects are stored inaccessible to children in care during today's inspection. The home has central heating and maintains a working telephone. Licensee was reminded that smoking is not allowed in a family child care home. Licensee was reminded that baby walkers, bouncers, jumpers and similar items are not allowed in family childcare homes. Licensee states that there are no pets in the home. Licensee stated there are NO arms and ammunition stored in the home. There is a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher, dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the home. Children files and Facility files were reviewed. Facility contained a Children's Roster, Licensee’s mandated reporter training expires 10/4/2025, pediatric CPR and first aid expires 6/2025.
