25 | On 1/24/2024 at 9:00am Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Janai McClain and Indira Loza met with Licensee Rhonda Glenn for an Unannounced Capacity Increase Inspection. Present during the inspection were 2 infants, 2 preschool aged children, 3 school-aged children, and one assistant with no fingerprint clearance, Bridgette Ekow. Licensee lives in her home alone. Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The facility is a single story unit in a duplex. The home consists of a living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom.

ISOLATION AREA: last bedroom on the right near the bathroom
This home was granted a fire clearance on 12/22/23 from the Oakland Fire Department.
The inside of the home was observed to be neat, clean with ample age-appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee provides food for the children that is properly stored and maintained. All cribs and napping equipment are clean, well maintained and free from defects. Licensee stated there are no firearms and no pets in the home.
The home has one (1) fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher in kitchen. There are three (3) working smoke detectors, 1 in each bedroom, and 1 combined smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen near the bathroom. The wall heater in the living room is gated. LPAs did not observe any harmful bodies of water in or around the home.
