25 | On 11/3/2023 at 11:34am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Fatima Bawazir for a Required – 3 Year Inspection. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, her husband Abdul Bawazir, who serves are her full-time helper, and their two (2) year old granddaughter. There were no other children present during the inspection. Licensee lives in the home with her husband. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Family Room, Downstairs Bathroom, One (1) Upstairs Bedroom in the corner next to Master Bedroom and Portion of Backyard
OFF LIMITS AREA: Master Bedroom, Three (3) Bedrooms upstairs, Two (2) Upstairs Bathrooms, Left Side portion of Backyard and Garage
ISOLATION AREA: Living Room
The facility is two story home rented by the Licensee. The inside of the home is observed to be neat, clean with ample age-appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, personal medications, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee stated that she provides all food for the children. All food that is brought from the children’s home will be properly labeled and stored. Child sized tables are used for eating. All materials used for eating was observed to be clean and free from defects. LPA observed four (3) play yard used for sleeping that were well maintained and free from defects. LPA observed three (3) infant rockers in the home as well. LPA informed Licensee and her husband that they must be removed from all on-limit areas as they are not allowed in licensed childcare facilities. LPA observed children’s blankets stored in a pile in a crib. LPA informed Licensee and her husband that all bedding should be stored separately for the health and safety of the children. All off limit areas are made inaccessible with gates, locks, and closed doors. Licensee stated they will transport children on a case-by-case basis. There are no pets and no firearms in the home.
