25 | On September 3, 2025, at 8:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with licensee Yasmin Nazir. LPA disclosed the purpose of the visit and conducted a health and safety inspection, touring the facility both inside and outside. Present during the inspection was the licensee’s fingerprint cleared husband. Also present during this inspection were five preschool age children. The facility operates from Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
This two story home, owned by the licensee, consists of four bedrooms, three baths, a living and dining room, family room, kitchen, backyard and attached two car garage. The home was observed to be clean, orderly, and equipped with centralized heating, air conditioning, and ventilation for the safety and comfort. LPA asked the licensee if she transports children in care, and the licensee stated that she does not. LPA also asked the licensee if she has any firearms, and the licensee stated that she does not.
At 8:30 AM, LPA inspected the backyard area and confirmed that no pools, hot tubs, or other bodies of water were present, in compliance with childcare licensing regulations. The backyard was observed to be fully fenced and free from defects or hazardous conditions. No play structures requiring anchoring were present at the time of inspection. Trees and canopies provided adequate shade, and ample age-appropriate toys were available in safe and good condition. A shed located on the side of the house was locked to prevent children’s access to stored equipment. The backyard play area also included a sandbox with digging equipment, climbing equipment, bikes, slides with cushioning underneath to absorb falls, water play equipment, and a mini playhouse.
On-limit-areas include: Family room, kitchen, living and dining room, backyard, and downstairs bathroom
The Isolation area of the home will be a section of the family room, away from other children in care.
Off-limit-areas include: Entire second level of home, garage, and upper patio deck and stairs
The off-limits will be made inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision.
