25 | On 06/13/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji, met with Fingerprint Cleared Assistant Yanli Cao for an UNANNOUNCED 1 YEAR REQUIRED INSPECTION. Also present during inspection was 6 children (2 infants and 4 preschoolers). The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection.
On-limit-areas: play room, living room, downstairs bedroom, downstairs bathroom, playground.
Off-limit-areas: entire second floor, kitchen, garage, backyard area fenced off from the playground.
Isolation area: downstairs bedroom. The off limits areas will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The home has heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There is a gate barricading the stairs to the second floor. There are toys and learning equipment. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present during today's inspection. The home has a fully charged fire extinguisher. All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of the reach of children and it was observed that there are no toxins or hazardous items accessible to children during today's inspection. Facility has a working smoke detector and working carbon monoxide detector, and working telephone. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. All REQUIRED forms are posted and visible for public review. Licensee and assistant have proof of immunizations, including TB results on file.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department.
