13 | On May 8, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Simerjit Kaur conducted a complaint investigation. LPA met with the licensee Rohini Lanke. Present during today's visit were 6 preschool aged children, 1 infant age child, and assistant Chethana Doddaghatta. During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews and observations.
It has been alleged that licensee left day-care children in a soiled diaper for a long period of time. LPA observed three (3) children in soiled diapers, who were playing and trying to nap during the inspection. Based on observations and interviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED.
Type B deficiency cited on 9099D and appeal rights provided. A notice of site visit provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Rohini Lanke. |
