25 | On June 6, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Simerjit Kaur and Morgan Pringle arrived at the facility to conduct UNANNOUNCED RANDOM SITE INSPECTION. LPAs met with licensee Raiza Marciscano-Bettis. Upon initial arrival there were no children present. Present during the inspection, 2 preschool age children arrived. Also residing in the home is licensee’s finger print cleared and associated husband and 1 daughter, and 1 minor child. Hours of operation for child care are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm. The facility is a two story house. The following was observed during today’s inspection:
The home is two story and consists of a kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, half bathroom, laundry room, office, converted garage, basement, backyard, 3 separate outdoor spaces, wooden storage shed, pig pen and work shop.
ON LIMIT AREAS (accessible to children in care): the converted garage (day care room), half bathroom located next main entrance door, backyard behind the home, front yard grass area and grass area behind the fenced pool yard located on the right of the home. Licensee shall provide 100% supervision for all outdoor yard space. The isolation area will be in the corner of day care room. The converted garage (day care room) is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
OFF LIMIT AREAS (not accessible to children in care): the kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, office, basement, laundry room, entire second floor, pool area, storage shed and work shop. There is in ground covered pool and a hot tub in the backyard. There is also a pig pen. The off limit areas will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The licensee was advised to contact Licensing Department, so that an inspection can be completed prior to changing an off-limits area to on-limits.
