25 | On November 5th,2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kassandra Medrano conducted an annual required inspection which included a tour of the home and yard, and a review of the required day-care forms with the licensee, Pranitha today. Present in the home is Licensee, 13 children (3 infants and 10 preschool age children) and 2 adult assistants, as well as the licensee’s husband. During inspection it was found that the ratio requirements of children were observed out of compliance based on observations. Adults living in the home are Licensee, Husband, Sandeep, and two minor children. A review of records indicates that all adults working or living in the home who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
ON LIMITS: Bathroom #1(Hallway bathroom), fenced front and back yard, living room, Family room, Master Bedroom, Master bathroom, Bedroom #1 (The first bedroom in right of hallway), and Bedroom #2 (Isolation area)
OFF LIMITS: Garage, Outdoor shed, Kitchen, and Right side yard. Off limit areas are inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision.
Hours of operation are: Monday– Friday, 8am-6pm. LPA observed the following: No baby walkers, bouncers, exercausers, present in the home nor shall they be allowed to be used during day-care hours. Home has proper lighting and ventilation. Home has a working telephone, a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher.
