25 | On January 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods met with licensee Diego Yepez for an Unannounced Required 1 Year Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the licensee. Present during the inspection was the licensee's fingerprint cleared assistant, E. Rangel-Ledezma, and two (2) preschool age children and one infant. The licensee is in ratio today. Licensee stated that the facility operates from Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
LPA toured the facility inside and outside to conduct a Health and Safety inspection. This single story home was clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. The Isolation area of the home will be bedroom (3), away from other children in care.
There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the on-limit areas during today's inspection. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials or toxins accessible to children during today’s inspection.
The home has a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, and telephone. There’s a fireplace in the living room that has a barricade to prevent access by children. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. LPA asked the licensee does he transport children and the licensee stated that he does not transport children.
On-limit-areas are the: Living room, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, front and backyard, bathroom between bedroom two (2) and bedroom three (3), and kitchen
Off-limit-areas are : Bedroom 1, shed in backyard, and laundry room
