25 | On February 3, 2026, at 8:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods conducted an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with Diego Yepez. LPA disclosed the purpose of the visit and conducted a health and safety inspection, touring the facility both inside and outside. Present during the inspection were the licensee’s two fingerprint-cleared assistants. Also present were seven children in care: six (6) preschool-age children and one (1) infant. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The facility is a single-story home leased by the licensee and consists of three bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, kitchen, laundry area, front yard, and backyard. The laundry area is used as a walk-through to access the backyard. The home was observed to be clean, orderly, and well maintained. The facility is equipped with centralized heating and ventilation to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of children in care. Per the licensee, there are no firearms or weapons of any kind in the home, and the licensee does not provide transportation for children in care.
On-limits areas include the living room, bedroom two (2), bedroom three (3), kitchen, bathroom located between bedroom two (2) and bedroom three (3), and the front and backyard. The designated isolation area is the living room, which is located away from other children in care.
Off-limits areas include bedroom one (1), the laundry room, and the shed and office located in the backyard. These areas are made inaccessible to children through the use of closed and/or locked doors and are monitored through visual supervision.
At 8:10 AM, LPA inspected the outdoor play areas and confirmed that there are no pools, hot tubs, or other bodies of water present, in compliance with childcare licensing regulations. The outdoor play areas include both the front and backyard and are equipped with age-appropriate play equipment and outdoor furniture, including playhouses, ride-on play cars, wooden seating, and a water station. The backyard is fully fenced and was observed to be free of defects or hazardous conditions. The licensee also utilizes the front yard for outdoor play. LPA reminded the licensee to ensure 100% visual supervision when children are playing in the front yard due to the low fence.
