25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini met with Licensee Anna Armeeva for an unannounced Annual Random Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the Licensee. Present during this inspection was the Licensee and helper supervising 12 preschoolers and one school-age child. The Licensee lives in the house with her husband and two children. The home is two-story with four bedrooms, including a master bedroom and master bathroom, 2 bathrooms, a family room, a kitchen with a dining area, an upstairs loft, a laundry room, a garage, and a back yard. The hours of operation are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday -Friday.
ON-LIMITS: family room (main daycare area), downstairs bedroom (nap room), downstairs bathroom, kitchen, dining area, backyard.
OFF-LIMITS areas are the entire upstairs area and the garage laundry room downstairs. All off-limit areas are inaccessible by closed and locked doors and visual supervision.
LPA inspected the house for health and safety hazards. The daycare Area is clean, orderly, and equipped with age-appropriate toys and equipment for children, indoors and outdoors. The home has a working telephone, a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher that meets the minimum requirements. There are no bodies of water in the daycare area. A fireplace in the daycare room is barricaded with storage boxes. The Licensee conducts and documents Fire/Disaster Drills every six months, and the log indicates a drill was conducted on 01/09/2023. There are child-size tables and chairs for snacks and activities. The napping room had cots in good condition and each child have their separate blankets. The Licensee stated the facility washes the bedding weekly. The Licensee states there are no guns or weapons of any kind in the home. There are no pets in the house. The outdoor play area is fenced and is free from defects and dangerous conditions. There is a trampoline in the backyard; per the Licensee, it is only for her children, and daycare children do not use it. The stairs are barricaded with the safety mesh to prevent access to the upper level of the house. The Licensee has valid CPR, which expires on 2/2026. The Licensee and helper have current Mandated Reporter training. The Licensee provides daily snacks and meals. Discipline policy is redirection. LPA reviewed children’s files. All the files are complete and up to date. All required postings are properly posted.
