25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini met with Licensee Sun Xiaoping for an unannounced Annual Random Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the staff. During the inspection, the Licensee and two helpers were supervising four infants and 7 preschooler aged children. The double-story house consists of three bedrooms, including the Master bedroom with an attached bathroom, two bathrooms, a family room, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, laundry, a backyard, and a garage. The license operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
ON LIMIT AREAS: are the family room (main daycare), bathroom #1 (downstairs), dining area, fenced area of the backyard, and living room (walk through to the backyard only)
OFF LIMIT AREAS: entire second floor, laundry room(downstairs), living room, kitchen, and garage.
LPA inspected the house for health and safety hazards. The home has a working telephone, a smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher meeting the minimum requirements. The daycare area is clean, orderly, and equipped with age-appropriate toys and equipment for children indoors and outdoors. During Today's inspection, LPA did not observe any bodies of water. Licensee confirmed during the inspection that there are no firearms stored in the house. There are child-size tables and chairs for snacks and activities. The backyard is a designated outdoor play area, equipped with age-appropriate toys and rubber cushioning designed to absorb falls. The staircase is securely barricaded at the base to prevent child access. The fireplace located in the living room is properly screened. Licensee and both helpers have a valid CPR and first aid certificate on the file. Licensee and helpers have also completed the mandated certification training and current certifications have been maintained in the file. The Licensee provides daily snacks and meals. LPA reviewed five children's files. All five files are complete. All required postings are properly posted. The Licensee conducts and documents fire and disaster drills. The last drill was conducted on 03/30/2026. LPA reviewed and obtained a copy of the roster. The licensee also maintain documentation of 15 minutes sleep check.
