Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini arrived unannounced to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation and met the licensee Priyanka Boga. During the inspection, there were a director, one (1) volunteer, and two (2) staff members supervising 30 children in care.

Based on the interviews, observations, and record reviews, the facility revealed that the facility does not allow sick children. Furthermore, if any child gets sick, the facility isolates the child(ren) and provides appropriate care until the child(ren) gets picked up by the parents/guardians. Therefore, the alleged licensee allows sick children to attend daycare, may have happened, or is valid; there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is Unsubstantiated.

An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Priyanka Boga.
Appeal rights were given.
A notice of site visit was posted and must remain posted for a period of 30 days.

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini arrived unannounced to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation and met the licensee Priyanka Boga. During the inspection, there were a director, one (1) volunteer, and two (2) staff members supervising 30 children in care.
Based on the interviews, observations, and record reviews, LPA concluded that although the facility has twice-weekly janitorial services, the carpet/rugs inside the classrooms are soiled and stained with dirt.The rugs need thorough shampooing or replacement/removal. The preponderance of evidence standard has been met; therefore, the allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, {Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, Section 101238(a) is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini arrived unannounced to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation and met the licensee Priyanka Boga. During the inspection, there were a director, one (1) volunteer, and two (2) staff members supervising 30 children in care.

Based on the interviews, observations, and record reviews, it is concluded that the facility is aware of the rodent issue and has signed up for pest control services and the pest control has been making regular visits to remedy the infestation.The preponderance of evidence standard has been met; therefore, the allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, {Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, Section 101238(1) is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D
