On December 18, 2024 at approximately 10:21am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Randy Miranda arrived unannounced for an annual inspection for health and safety. LPA met with licensee Manjeet Malhotra and discussed the purpose of the visit. Living in the home is the licensee, licensee’s fingerprint-cleared spouse, and licensee’s fingerprint cleared-adult child. Present for today’s inspection was licensee and three infants (14-, 18-, and 19-month-old) in care. The hours of operation will be Monday-Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm.

The facility is a single-story home with four bedrooms; two bathrooms; living room, family room (day care area); kitchen; covered patio; back yard; side yards; front yard; and an attached garage (converted into a bedroom).

LPA and the licensee toured the facility to review for health and safety. There is a 2A10BC fully charged fire extinguisher mounted on the wall in the kitchen area. Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector (tested and functioning) are located in the hallway area. The home is neat and organized with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. All Off-Limits area will be made inaccessible by closed doors with door knob protectors, gates, and 100% supervision. The Isolation Area will be in a portion of the living room, away from other children in care. All required forms are posted and visible for public view.

On-limit areas include: Living room; family room (day care area); bedroom on left side of hallway; bathroom on right side of hallway; and backyard.

Off-limit areas include: Bedroom #2 to the left of the hallway bathroom; bedroom #3 at the end of the hallway; bathroom inside bedroom #3; bedroom #4 (garage converted into a bedroom); kitchen; left and right side-yards, front-yard, and locked shed in back-yard.

Side yards and shed are gated to prevent access from children in care. 100% supervision is maintained at all times when children are in the backyard play area.
