25 | On March 25, 2026, at 9:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with Licensee Deepthi Koduru. LPA disclosed the purpose of the visit and conducted a health and safety inspection, touring the facility both inside and outside. Present during the inspection were the licensee’s fingerprint-cleared assistant, and husband. Also present were 10 children in care, two infants, seven preschool age children, including her two school-age children ages 13 and six (6). The facility operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m to 5:30 p.m.
The facility is a two-story home, leased by the licensee consisting of three bedroom and two and a half bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, backyard, and an attached two car garage. The home was observed to be clean, orderly, and well maintained, and is equipped with centralized heating and ventilation to ensure the safety and comfort of children. The kitchen and stairs are secured with gate barriers to prevent children from freely accessing the upper level of the home and living room.
On-limits areas include: Living room, family room, kitchen and half bathroom and backyard. The designated isolation area is the living room area, away from other children in care.
Off-limits areas include: Entire Second level of the home, two car garage on the main level, backyard, right side there is a safety gate to keep the children out of the area, and on the left side yard a small section that's off limits to children in care. There's also a shed in the off limits with a lock. These areas are made inaccessible to children by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision.
LPA inspected the cabinets in the on-limit areas, which include the living room, family room, kitchen, bathroom and did not observe any hazardous materials or toxins accessible to children during today’s inspection. LPA tested the smoke detector in the living room and the carbon monoxide detector in family room and found both to be functioning properly. The home is equipped with a working telephone, a first aid kit, and a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, which meets the standards established by the State Fire Marshal. There’s also a fireplace in the family room that has a barricade/screen to prevent access by children.
