32 | During the interview process, the administrator and ten staff persons were interviewed. It was reported that most Assisted Daily Living (ADLs) needs are being met; ADLs include Bathing, Dressing, Transferring, Toileting, Medications and Eating. It was reported that resident needs are being met, however, sometimes the residents bathing/showering is lacking. It was stated that sometimes resident’s miss their showering, sometimes the showering is pushed to the next care provider shift and sometimes the resident refuses to take a shower.
Overall, it could not be proven that the facility is understaffed and that the residents’ needs are not being met. Although the allegation may have happened, or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred and the findings are Unsubstantiated. No deficiencies cited. |
