This Department has investigated the allegations and has determined them to be unsubstantiated. The investigation consisted of interviews and document review. This Department found that the resident would page for staff assistance even while staff were in the room. The resident would request medication as a PRN when the medication was prescribed to be given at scheduled times.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
