On 10/24/23 @ 8:30am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) E. Laird conducted an unannounced complaint inspection for the purpose of delivering complaint findings.

On 9/21/23 a complaint investigation inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) E. Laird. It was alleged staff are forcing children to nap. LPA E. Laird conducted an interview with facility owner, Ronda Gambone who stated she was unaware of staff forcing children to nap. Ronda stated this issue was not brought to her attention. Ronda stated there are at least two staff in the nap room at a time and no one has mentioned seeing anything concerning.

On 9/21/23 LPA E. Laird conducted interviews with three staff (S1, S2, S3). S1 stated they had not observed staff forcing children to nap. S2 stated the nap room is dark and there’s a shelf which blocks some of the view so they could not be sure that staff had forced a child to nap. S3 stated they had observed S4 forcing children to stay on their mats to nap.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated.

An exit interview was conducted with facility owner, Ronda Gambone.

The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
